Allyson Rosenblum Headshot.jpg

A native of Boca Raton, Florida, Allyson Rosenblum has always had a passion for the performing arts. It is rumored that at the age of six months old, Ally’s mom walked in to hear her humming “Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star” ... and the rest is history!

Ally attended both performing arts middle and high schools (BAK Middle School of the Arts and Alexander W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts) with concentrations in Theatre and Musical Theatre. She graduated with her BFA in Musical Theatre from the University of Central Florida, and has been seen in numerous Theatre UCF productions- receiving the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival Irene Ryan nomination for her portrayal of Ilona Ritter in She Loves Me.

Outside of performing, Ally has an immense love for travel. She has been fortunate enough to see incredible places such as Rome, Florence, Venice, London, Paris and Israel, and hopes to one day have the opportunity to combine her love of travel and performance. When back home in South Florida, Ally loves to spend time with her family and friends, go out for sushi, and hang out with her BFF (best furry friend) Elle Woods.

Allyson Rosenblum singing "Kind of Woman" from Pippin
Allyson Rosenblum represents Theatre UCF in her performance of "A Trip to the Library" from She Loves Me at the KCACTF Region IV Musical Theatre Gala. Featuring Jarrett Poore as Sipos.

The ensemble has nary a weak-link, but the stand-out is certainly Rosenblum’s illiterate Ilona. She is funny, sympathetic, and brassy. Her rendition of ‘A Trip to the Library’ is one of the show’s most memorable highlights.
— Matt Tamanini, BroadwayWorld Orlando

The cheery disposition(s) of Allyson... brought a unique comedic quality to the show as (she) fought to reclaim (her) dignities in relations to love and job promotions. Rosenblum also showcased a wide vocal range Theater UCF needs to showcase more of.

Allyson Rosenblum masterfully portrays the strong and resourceful Ilona and her struggle to escape from the charms of Kodaly…
— Alex Storer, Central Florida Future

Rosenblum is hysterical as the dark and dower Frankenstein housekeeper… As with all of the characters in Brooks’ subtly bawdy show, Frau Blucher has her own particularly deviant past, and Rosenblum delivers it in spades in ‘He Vas My Boyfriend.’ A terrific voice and incredibly charismatic, she is one of many scene-stealers in the cast… and (they) prove to be quality tappers in ‘Puttin’ on the Ritz’ as well.
